On April 1, 2019, Governor Ducey signed SB1022 that reduces the minimum required instructional time required for 7th and 8th grade students to be considered as full time students for funding. Instructional hours for 7th and 8th grade students will be reduced from 1000 hours to 890 hours. It is expected this change will be in effect for the 2019-2020 school year.
